I was wondering if anyone had tints on thier cars and had to take them off, i had to take mine off due to tickets i got @ a checkpoint. My question is since taking off the tints i noticed now when i put on my rear defogger my radio FM/AM doesnt play so well, i get alot of static, i think i may have like peeled off some of those orange lines. Does anyone know how to go about fixing this... Is it the glue from the tints that is causing thise problem or might it be the lines that i may have scrapped a little...? Thanks In Advance.

 

I thought there were no restrictions on how dark the back window could be tinted. Some vehicles don't even have back windows, so why shouldn't you be able to darken yours?

About the radio, most people noticed the problem with the rear defroster, but that's with the tint applied. If you removed some of the lines, you can either replace the rear window (~$350 from some discount sites) or check with the local dealer. Maybe they can reapply the lines or something.

 

in michigan its illegal to tint rear window.
