if u got a supercharger i dont think ur gonna really care about the gas, but i dont think it will effect it too drastically, if u drive like a sane person that is, which i personally wont if u got a charger so i think ull get about 40-60 less miles per tank with it, just a guess though.

I used to get about 23 mpg without the SC... then I would get about 21 with the SC (3.125 pulley)... now I get about 19 (2.87 pulley).

well is that highway mpg or street?? and by the way about how may mile do u go per tank, i wanna see if there is something wrong with my car, cuz i hit about 240miles approx before every fillup, and i dont got a s/c that about 16.5 mpg???? and it is an auto? and one more thing, sorry to be off the subject but i gave stillen a call last week and asked about the s/c for the 2k1 max, the guy told me it only works on manual(which i know is bs) because something in the auto tranny, the transfercase to be specific get in the way and u cant install it, but here i see u with a S/C in an auto max runnin faster then ever, what did u have to do diff to get in the s/c im curious because im gettin an s/c in the near future.

That's mostly highway. I can hit 300 per tank if I don't go crazy on the pedal. Yes, the car is an auto.

Stillen doesn't know what they're talking about... weird isn't it? All you need to do is get a smaller filter since the one they provide is way too big.

well thanx for clearing that up, what i got in mind though is a custom machined 2.62 inch pulley, and the filter should really be no problem since im gonna get an custom made CAI put into place, ill probably start the project toward the end of this year...... thanx for the info.

I hope you know what you're getting into with the 2.62 since you're auto. Do some research on Vortech's site on the effects of the 2.62.

You don't need to get it machined because Vortech sells it.

Im sorry, i failed to mention one little detail.....actually a big detail, the engine will be completly ripped apart, gonna throw in custom made crank, rods, and pistons with gapless rings to prevent any blowby, the cams, well thats gonna be custom too, also some head work will be done, ok alot of head work will be done, i figured, imma have to get a upgraded torque converter and valve body, so til i get s/c i aint gonna touch the tranny, when i do get the s/c im also gonna wisley invest in a complete tranny from levelten....so no nothin is gonna blow, except maybe the axles???? we'll see for now this not gonna happen......but it will in the near future, i still gotta bluprint the engine and see what gonna cause what to do what. oh well whenever i get this done ill post it up, but dont expect anyting soon, but its gonna happen

yeah tell me about it, even with my hookups this whole ordeal is still gonna end up costing about 15grand!!!!!!!!!!!, i just dont like it when some1 doubts me, or tells me something im gonna do is not gonna work, but if all goes well by the end of this year ill start planning everything, ill havea another car by then so the max is gonna be out ov comission for a good three-four months, and thats just the engine build, not to mention the tranny install and rewiring everthing to my liking, and the computer thats gonna be a headach on its own, the things i get myself into, oh well, its gonna be worth it in the end.
