what size wheels does everyone have on their car...??

what size wheels does everyone have on their maxima...??
and is their any problems with them...??
i'm planning on getting 17x7.5 or 17x8....

17" x 8" with a 40mm offset.
245/45ZR-17 tires.

I'd recommend you not follow naidd's example, SoloMaxima. The minimum acceptable rim width for 235/40R18 tires is 8.0". For a discussion of the importance of maintaining proper rim width, read the post on Page 3 of the FAQs entitled "Can I run oversized tires on my stock 17" SE Rims?". K, you have me concerned...I though I bought 17 X 7.5 and put a 245/45 on it. I am beginning to wonder if
1) The morons at the shop said it was o.k. and I actually bought the story.
2) I actually bought 17 X 8 and forgot....

In theory, can I measure the rim from ID lip to lip? What would be the most scientific way to check if I cannot find my receipt?
