Eibach springs installed!

Well my week started off grim; I received my Blackstone oil analysis results and they look like **** so I've been crying the blues for the past 24 hours. Until I got home today and my Eibach springs arrived! I only had 3 hours to burn and was solo so I swapped the front springs out just before dark hit. DAMN what a difference a day makes! 1.3 inches is a crock of shiiiet! Closer to a 2" drop up front but it looks sooooo good and the front end is rock stable now. Took her for a brief spin around some local curves and my goodness she feels good. By the way, I'm still on stock SE struts and there is zero bounce at all. No obvious stiffness either, only rock solid stability. I can't wait to get the rears on and see and feel the total package. Anyone, just wanted to share my joy...at least until I hear Bill's thoughts on my abnormal bearing wear results from the oil analysis...
I'll post pics after I get the rears swapped later this week. Cheers my friends!

After your springs settle you should notice a little bounce after a while of use. I know I did on my H&R's. Had them on for like 8K and then noticed the bouncy. Maybe it's because I have stock GLE struts/shock which are softer..

Read it and weep for me!
Oil analysis

I'm not sure of total cost because I only have the Eibach springs on stock struts. The springs were $240 shipped from www.shox.com though. I'll be waiting on the first available adjustable shock to install that doesn't require extra fab.

bounce

you will definitely feel a noticeable bounce once you install the rears and the springs settle. I have eibachs on my stock se shocks and I am thinking of removing them because I live in NY and I cant stand the bounce. I might however just remove the rears. how does the car look with just the fronts. If possible can you please post a pic. Thanks

Hope to take pics later this evening. I like the look with stock rears because the front doesn't have the huge **** eating gap, but you can tell a huge difference in front to rear stiffness. It almost feels like the rear half of the car is twisting while the front isn't...which is in fact what the softer springs are allowing to happen out back. Feels great on a sexy lady...not so good on the car. I probably won't change the rears til the weekend because I think they are much harder to access than the fronts and I don't have but a few hours of daylight! I just hope I can last until the adjustables come out. One other option for the rear at least is to get 4th gen AGX as (CORRECT ME IF I'M WRONG) they are identical and don't require any modification. I might just do that and suffer with a bouncy front end until the real things arrive later this year...hopefully.

I have a jack and 2 jackstands along with a socket driven spring compressor. It's easy with time and the tools.
