Are my springs shot, already?

Greets,

I have 11K miles(2K SE) and if you give the passenger door a good slam, the car rocks back and forth a bit before settling.

Is this normal? Do I need new springs? Under normal driving conditions, can someone guestimate average life in miles of the stock units?

The car does not seem more bouncy than normal while driving, so I don't no what to make of this?

Springs typicaly last for ever, shocks on the other hand would be the culprit. A good test is to push down on the corners of the car and see if it bounces a lot, it should just go down once and then back up, if it bounces a lot it means your shocks are bad.
