I like the idea a little better...

than I like the execution. I really like the fact that the leather completely covers the rubber skirt at the base of the brake lever. It's just that there's so much leather bunched up around the lever that it looks sloppy (to me). I would prefer a tighter fitting boot even if it didn't completely cover the rubber skirt.

Just passing on the information...

I'm not trying to convince you to buy.

I just try and promote ANYTHING made for Maximas(FUGLY or not ), so that one day we might actually have some aftermarket choices.

Every little bit counts.

If you or someone wants to put a GB together contact:

He has done multiple GB for the leather seats. I've already got too many things on my plate, but I will definitely be getting one soon.

Is there something wrong with the momo e-brake??? Does it not fit well or something?????

I think that boot in black would look sweet....

Gotta agree...they look 'baggy' to me...maybe because they are new leather and over time might 'sag' into the recesses/relax a bit more

Ebrake boot...

Dear Members,

I see we have mixed reactions about the e-brake boot... it is hard to please everyone. Anyway, the production boot is going to fit alot tighter than that one does. I personally like the baggy look for the e-brake boot, but the production boot will be a tighter fit for sure. I would estimate that it will appear somewhere in between that shift boot in the pics and the current look as far as baggyness.

These boots can be installed with both the factory and aftermarket *****/handles. The vinyl used by the factory is amazingly crappy, you will truly be impressed by the look and feel of both upgrades. Both boots are available in all colors, but the color matches are:

Interior: Color:
Dark Charcoal........Black
Frost................Puddy
Blond................Sandstone

Thanks,
Eric

I noticed this is not posted in the group deal section so I will take the liberty to go do so Eric, do you have a shift boot for the 6spd max or just the 5spd one?

Eric,

If available, could you post a profile pic of the uninstalled e-brake boot? I'm curious to see how it's shaped compared to the Momo item currently available. Thanks.

The momo E-brake does not fit on right, it is just to small.
