Gas Indicator?

Has anyone had the needle fluctuating whenever you drive at highway speeds?...this morning when i was driving around it was pretty wild...one minute it said i was empty...next I was at 1 quarter tank...wtf??...I would understand if i was almost empty...but empty to one quarter tank?

The only time I have seen something like that is on an exit onramp or offramp in which you are turning rather than going straight. Did it happen right when you came off of a turn, or were you going straight the whole time?

Im not sure...I was on the LIE so i guess i took a really long curve that could've done that but im thinking 1 quarter tank is too much gas to @#!@ around with the needle like that??

I wouldn't sweat it....Mine does that large fluctuation also sometimes. It's especially noticeable when the you have around 1/4 tank left.
