Secrets to using touch-up paint

Does anyone know how to use touch-up paint so it'll look halfway decent when it dries? there's no dent, but maybe a 3/4" x 3/4" area of paint got stripped off the back bumper.

Put it in a good Hobby airbrush with a thin nozzle. Take your time and give the spot several light coats. I did this with my old car and it worked out pretty good.

Good idea! Question though, can you dump what comes in those stupid brush on bottles into the airbrush can "as-is" or will you have to thin it to keep from clogging the nozzel?

Test it on a piece of plastic first plastic allows you to see how thin a paint is because thin paint on plastic will bead I didn't thin out the paint when I did it the ford paint was already pretty thin. The nissan touch up paint is pretty thin as well. But different bottles can have different viscosity. Also before you spray get a piece of cardboard and test the tip to make sure it is flowing properly before spraying onto your vehicle you don't want it to spit paint onto other surfaces of the car.

i have several paint touchup spots (bought from nissan) on my car and it looks like my car has chicken pox (very noticeable) from certain angles. anyone have ideas to blend in these already-dried touchup spots?? much appreciated!

I've been told you can use very fine sand paper, wet it with soapy water, then sand down the spots. I've been too chicken to try this on my car, but maybe it works.

langka seems like a fluke to me... wathc thier videos and you'll see what i mean... the screen is soooo small you can't even see if the product is even working or not... make it bigger lose resolution either way i can't see anything~! someone buy it and tell me if it works... otherwise its like that G20 scratch remover crap... completely useless. they've patented a non-functional white cream

Langka actually does what the manufacturer claims (gets rid of the "blob") BUT it reduces the glossy appearance of the touch-up paint. The end result is no paint "blob" but a flat (matte) finish to it (only affects the touchup paint, does not harms the original paint). To me, it looks better than the stone chip, but it is by no means unnoticeable.

Pep Boys sells this plastikote stuff called "paint leveler", it works pretty good similar to langka.

Check for details on touchup paint pointers.
