So Cal Track Meet Results !! Just IN !!!

Ok guys, here are the results. The participants were : Leftcoast 2K2 6 speed, Chinkzilla 2K2 6 speed , Tony Fernandes 2K1 AE Auto, Anskyruben 2K2 GLE Auto, and myself 2K2 SE Auto....Hope to of had a larger showing, but maybe next time.

I layed down my best time in my third and final run. 14.858 at 93.88 MPH. I will let the rest of the guys post their exact numbers, but Chinkzilla hit a 14.4, and Leftcoast hit a 14.5, Anskyruben hit 15.2 and Tony was lurking in the 15.6 range....... We will be scanning our timeslips later on.... We well represented the ORG ! Leftcoast went up against a WRX , and TOASTED him all the way ! The WRX was posting 15.0 times. Oh, and for you Audi fans, the AUDI club was there ... the stock S4 that they brought couldnt break 14.9 ... Chalk another great day for the Maxx.....
Here is my exact timeslip for my best run.... Never mind the reaction time,, had a Traction Control button problem..\

Reaction - 1.784
60 FT - 2.305
330 Ft - 6.290
1/8 - 9.572
1/8 MPH - 75.48
1/4 MPH - 93.88
1/4 ET - 14.858
Im a happy Max 2k2 AUTO OWNER !!!

Chinkzilla, Tony, Left, Ansky .. Great Day at the races !!! [p][/p][p][/p]

Well you know how everyone loves the stock dual flow muffler, so I figure I might break even, but I expected no gains. I have no pics yet, I will have some up on my website soon.

I cant see why you would LOSE any power. I dont think it will produce any gains either... Im just happy im in the high 14's.... , and that we had 2 2K2's that ran 14. and 14.5. Oh by the way, expect these 2 guys to be at 14 flat by our next meet !

That's pretty good kloogy. But what am I doing wrong? My best is:

r/t .618
60' 2.264
330' 6.314
1/8 9.667 @ 74.22mph
1000' 12.567
1/4 15.033 @ 90.58mph

I beat your 60' time but I'm fading after that (compared to your times). I thought for sure I would be able to post numbers comparable to yours.

I manually shifted, and launched, ebraking at 2K RPM's..... my car seems to pull the best at high RPM's thanks to the Frankencar. By the way, my reaction time is hideous, maybe because I was nervous, dont ask me why. I was so afraid of failure with my car, but my Maxx proved me wrong .

I must say, I was a little disappointed with my times. These are the numbers for my 3 runs.

First
R/T - 1.196
60' - 2.336
330'- 6.460
1/8 - 9.845
1/8 mph - 73.38 mph
1/4 - 15.254
1/4 mph - 91.62 mph

Second
R/T - .727
60' - 2.408
330'- 6.511
1/8 - 9.918
1/8 mph - 72.77 mph
1/4 - 15.320
1/4 mph - 80.82 mph

Third
R/T - .806
60' - 2.304
330'- 6.415
1/8 - 9.819
1/8 mph - 72.95 mph
1/4 - 15.262
1/4 mph - 80.15 mph

I was hoping to hit high 14's, but oh well next time. I must say though it was fun as hell. Thanks for a good time Chinkzilla, Leftcoast, and Tony (who hit 14.2 in a anniversary Maxx Auto.)

I hope these trap speeds were supposed to be 90's and not 80's. you have a 2k2 auto, correct? wow, i wonder why i'm hitting the same traps with my 2k1 auto max and i only have intake... but then, your et kicks my et's rear end solidly...

Those ET's are 90's...The device was off by 10 MPH. Everyone was getting hosed by 10mph. My 14.8 run showed 83 MPH !... .. I must of slammed on the brakes when I hit the finish line !

OK Here are mine....

Just posting my two best:

Reaction .590
60' 2.408
330' 6.307
1/8 9.524
1/8 MPH 76.85
1/4 14.593
1/4 MPH 97.04

Reaction .537
60' 2.388
330' 6.308
1/8 9.521
1/8 MPH 76.78
1/4 14.579
1/4 MPH 96.94

As you can see from the 60'... Need tires. Potenza bad. No matter how I launched, just couldn't get anything below a 2.3. Even brought the PSI down to 25.. Still the same. Launch felt good...times not so good.

Thanks all who showed. I had a blast. A great first day at the track for me.

I had the same thoughts (our cars appear identical) when I went but was only managed a slightly better time. I am wondering if the SE auto doesn't have a differant program in the cpu. My 60' time are like a mirror of yours.
My best 2 runs are below. My best r/t of the night was .471 on a .440 tree.
r/t - .680
60' - 2.349
330' - 6.448
1/8 - 9.815
1/8 mph - 73.78
1/4 - 15.162
1/4 mph - 91.55

r/t - .600
60' - 2.379
330' - 6.501
1/8 - 9.864
1/8 mph - 73.93
1/4 - 15.199
1/4 mph - 91.81

This makes me think that our car is programed differently.

Did you guys have wheelhop problems? I get crazy wheelhop, the banging is so hard I fear I am going to brake something everytime.

How are you launching your car? I launch at about 2000 and part throttle for first gear and finish the 1/4 in fourth gear.

My best is;

r/t - .597
60' - 2.392
330' - 6.378
1/8 - 9.624
1/8 mph - 76.54
1/4 - 14.710
1/4 mph - 95.52

Yep yep and yep. It was a problem we battled all day. I tried launching from a couple different RPMs (2500 and 3000). Still never got a decent launch. Maybe better motor mounts??? Heavy duty clutch?? I'm open for any suggestions.

I wonder if that's true. I have most of you guys beat on the 60' times but my 1/4 mile ET and trap speed don't show this.

I may have to purchase the ultimate mod: Honda Type R stickers!!!

nice times guys! everyone keepes talkin like reation times make a differnece in your 1/4 mile times! IT DOESNT! u camn sit there until u want to! the only time it makes a difference in a race is when u r bracket racing! i want to see some 13 sec time slips from a 2k2! OH and i really want to see some numbers from kev and maxnout (i think thats his name))! they should be hittin some good times but it seems to me that they r scared to go!

I'm surprised no one commented on my 14.2 ET!!!! I don't know WTF happened, but I obviously didn't hit 14.2!!!

This was my first time at the track and I have to say I had a blast! Thanks guys!!

I don't have my time slips with me now, but on my first run my ET was 15.9 and the other two were 15.749 & 15.711. My speeds were in the 86-87 mph range. I was pretty happy. The 4th run they screwed me over with the wrong time...??

My second run was against a WRX wagon who pulled a 14.007 ET. He had cool-looking taillights!!

My last run was against a Kompressor C230 who ran a 16 ET. At least I beat someone before the end of the day.

I wish I would have had my Y-Pipe in before the race. I've been waiting about a month now from Cattman. Chinkzilla has pretty much convinced me to give Warpspeed a try. I need more speed!!!!

Tony

Tony's car has all kinds of audio stuff, so that adds a lot of weight to it. He has some NICE wheels. His car looks awesome. I never really looked at an AE closely. Y pipe, Headers, and you might be in the 15 flat, if not 14's.... How dirty were our cars after leaving that place ???
