Air filter on my 2k2......

I know it is easy to put in a new air filter, but do you just take off that black box? Does anyone have exact instructions for an idiot to install this thing? Or a link? I was just a little intimidated by those sensor wires on the filter right now. Help someone please. Pictures would help a lot. Thanks a lot in advance guys.

There like 4 clips, just pop the clips off and change the filter. It takes less then a minute to do.

OK you say black box, so already you're better off than you make yourself sound. On top of that black box there are 2 metal clasps. They're bent around the airbox. Unhitch the clasps (it's like opening a lunch box or small toolbox). There's a formed rise in the plastic between the two clasps: this is your handle. Just pull back towards you then lift up. Voila! If you can do this, then you have enough confidence to tackle 90% of the projects on your maxima. (Well maybe not 90%)
