To start off don't post if you don't owe any money, I know a lot people pay with cash.

somebody here got offered 12K for their 2k average mileage car.. I think they ended up getting 18K from another dealer. I wonder how many people bite on offers like that..ouch.

Yikes, I thought I was bad. I paid $24K even and put no money down. I figure since I've only had in about three months I probably owe around $23K or so. In other words, too much.

Hell I payed $31,305 for my 2k1, that's with the $3000 I rolled in from my trade and now I owe $25,500. Also my payments are $575 a month. Looks like me and you are in the same boat when it comes to cars. I also trade in all the time, but I think this may be the last one for a long time. I'll see though i'm going to give the 2k3 and 2k4 Maxima's a try and if I like either one then maybe.

$41k? That sounds way too high even in CDN funny money. I'm leasing mine so I'm not in the same boat as alot of you guys. I put quite a bit of business mileage on it and get reimbursed by my company quite nicely

Sold my 91 SE w/102000 miles myself in Jan of 2001 for 5900 - dealer would only give me maybe 2500. Paid 28000 for my fully loaded AE with 4000 down. Used the add'l 1900 for wheels and other stuff. Anyway, I owe app. 18500 @ 3.9%. Only about 11000 miles.

Go to edmunds.com and pull up a TMV. But if it's auto with decent mileage, I'd say around $18,000.

Of course there is a lot of people that owe $0, your not special. Read my first post and then you will realize why the majority of people did not post $0.
