Check it out:

Look familiar to all you 2k2 owners? You have to look hard to see any differences.

Okay gentlemen - let the retrofitting begin.

Maybe we should have a prize for the first one who installs the first 2k3 gee-whiz accessory in their 2k, 2k1, or 2k2. A mirror with a compass, anyone? How about yet another kind of taillight - these have a new smoked look w/chrome in the Titanium Edition. How about those special TE rims?

Hey DaveB get us some part numbers ASAP!

in my AE...it came wired with the autodim already, I just haven't gotten around to actually looking into if more wiring is needed or just a direct 'plug & play'. I would like to see photos of the wheels...want to see if they are a cool looking chrome version or the more 'dirty' look of most gunmetal wheels.

Called Tustin Nissan and inquired about the taillights, they don't have it yet. In fact they don't even have a 2003 on the lot just yet.

I say, give it a couple of weeks and we should see these things in the market

I looked at the large size photos in the gallery section of Nissan site and it looks like one is there. I may be wrong.

Hmm... it definitely looks smoked but also looks like the same photo's from the 2002 gallery. In fact the 360 degree viewer has a similar smoked looked but is clearly described as a 2002.

Maybe there are some dealers that have the new 2k3 brochure. Or you could request one via the website. I agree that the pics on the site don't show anything that looks new - they all look like the 2k2.

We are talking about the Titanium Edition. They are supposed to be smoked w/chrome around the lights.

Now that I reread the website they may be just referencing the 2k2 tails. There isn't a special taillight treatment to the 2k3 titanium - my bad. This is hou rumours start.

Naw, just retrofit everything. It'd be a whole lot cheaper and you would have a hard time telling the difference for those of you with 2k2s.

Regarding my 2k SE, now.... if I could retrofit the 255 hp drivetrain.....

You know I got dibs! Make sure you send pictures when you get those parts.

Also, what about the 350Z parts? I'm looking for the MATCHING dead pedal for the AE/HLSD pedals I've seen on the 350Z and G35 coupe.

Yeah, I've been wondering what they look like, too. No listings on the 350Z yet, but I'll sure have my finger on that trigger!

I sure hope so, otherwise I'll be monitoring mine for some kind of scratch just for an excuse to replace them with the 2K3 TE ones.

The never ending mod cycle continues.

Look out terrorist groups...

who needs nuclear or chemical weapons...just spread the 'mod bug' around and let chaos rule!

I have never seen such a virulent sickness in my life!!

On the next Jerry Springer...

Maxima owners obsessed with mods

[Joe, sitting in chair with Maxima.org T-shirt] I can't help it, I have to mod my car.

[Jerry] But your family,...they need to eat...find a place to live...someplace beside the trailer park.

[Joe] I know, I know. But there are some things that I need to find out.

[Jerry] We're here to help...what is that?

[Joe] Will an Altima mirror fit my max? Will the side sills from a 2k3 fit my 2k? How do I get rid of these [bleep] paint chips? Will ..........

....next time on Springer

Compass in the mirror? Titanium accents? Smoked taillights with a chrome surround?

I think I'm slightly excited...

I have that same exact mirror in my Max (see my sig). I bought mine from Donnelley Electronics over 2 years ago. It amazes me that Nissan is selling them so cheap. I have seen them advertised in Car & Driver for about $220.

two new colors for the 2k3.

Polished Titanium and Sheer Silver. i wish they had a *real* silver when i bought my car. (no offense to you sterling mist people intended)

Polished Titanium requires Titanium Edition and sunroof. i guess its kind of like the equilvalent to Majestic Blue for the AEs

also, it looks like if you want leather seats you are required to get the TE.

there are way too many REQUIRED CHANGES for certain options. says you cant get floor mats with black leather you have to get frost leather instead....

I agree. I much prefer Infiniti's silver to Nissan's Sterling Mist. The new 2003 Sheer Silver color is for me.

well, they're not really trying to sell 2002s anymore so there is no need to keep the specs up. all cars manufactures do that.

but anyway, its the same exact car. so the specs are exactly the same.

That when u click on exterior details and go to 'front fashia' the turn signals are cleared out (no orange lens its clear)?
but then for headlights the orange lens is back in there
