2003 Titanium Package:

So for $1000, all you are getting is just some cosmetic stuff, right?

*sill plates,
*accents on the steering wheel and shift ****,
*titanium on the radio face plate
*special floor mats

But you do get the tinted tails and and wheels.

Is it worth a grand?

I personally don't think so. But it is awesome that Nissan has added a true silver to the line up. Silver with Frost leather will look awesome.

It looks like you also get side impact airbags, a 6 disc player, and a compass in the mirror.
As far as what Nissan charges for some of their "packages", it seems reasonable. cough...cough...

Right. Which bumps the bottom-line even higher. The tinted taillight's doesn't seem to be official yet... the photo's on Nissan's site are the same one's for the 2002's.

It also seems RDS is standard on the regular radio's this time. If i didn't know any better they probably just took the "BOSE" name off the radio faceplate... <g>

I see nothing that makes me run to order. I would like to see a picture of what the wheels look like.

Sounds ok if I were ordering today. With only 2K miles I have no interest.

Hmm, all the new features you guys listed basically makes it an I35. All that stuff came standard on mine. I guess that's one less degree of separation, hehe.

i dont think so. Sheer Silver is available for any 2k3 maxima. however, there is a 2nd new color for the 2k3s. Polished Titanium. that is only available on Titanium Editiom maximas. thats what i got from the website.

That's supposed to be meant for the 2004. The test cars just rolled off of it.

I doubt they'd set-up the Smyrna plant for a sub-1yr production on the 5th gen max. Just doesn't make sense both in terms of economics and efficiency.

What r u talking 'bout Emax? It's still on Nissan's web site (first choice of SE color)!

Now if you want to talk classic, my AE Max WAS suppose to be one but the polished rims and sill plates of the 2003 TE just made my Max another ordinary one!

THAT'S IT... I WANT ONE!

And watch your times drop due to increased unsprung weight and rolling mass increase. But you'll be adding more ponies soo to offset it anyways knowing you!

No need to be in a TL-S... I'm gonna see your rear end with my 2001 20th Anniversary "nothing to celebrate now that there's a 2003 TE with more stuff" edition Maxima with my stainless steel sill plates, bright finish rims, smoked tail lights, "no they are not HID's" headlights, "NO, for the 3rd time, I have the 3.0L not the 3.5L" engine and one less gear than a 2002-03 manual tranny. HAPPY!?

Can't wait to see the Max in those new colors. I love silver, too bad it is so popular. The Titanium should be look cool too. I wish Nissan had introduced the silver in 2002. I would have prefered it over any of the others...

well, if this is tru, i think i got jipped....one of the reasons why i was happy to buy a 2k2 even tho i knew a new max would come out soon was cause I thought it was the last year it was produced in japan.......crap
