I'd like to lower the front by, at most, a couple inches. Does anyone know a way to do this without a spring job?

HAHAH, my hefty friend once joked about that... sat in his car and said "see, it's lowered without having to do any work".

Might be able to by fabricating some sort
of bracket to tie two coils together -somehow.

Other than that, fabricating some sort of very complex shock tower extension that relocates everything up a couple inches from the current location on the inner wheel wells -assuming you have mondo clearance.

The only way is to cut stock springs or heat them up and they will fold. If you do either of these your ride will be adversely affected.

Back home, given the ratio of cost/salary almost everyone i knew used the clip method. Basically clip 2 coils together. It's not the best way to do it but it does the job.
