I raced my friend with an Altima 3.5 a/t
We took off at the first race on the local street and got left behind half a car.
My eyes could not believe this.
SO I asked him his secret and that was as I had felt before 1nd, 2nd,3rd and D.So i tried it also. I was up with him till 3rd gear neck on neck when i shifted up in D before 3rd gear hit redline he was a fender in front of me. I mean those altimas move.
I got stillen intake, lowered and stillen stabilization.I will race him soon on the track again and then we will see who is faster. I will be fored to race him from first gear.I am in the process to install an APEX SAFV meter, no luck at this time. Who can help me by chance. When we were racing on the street a ford thunderbrid came like a 90's one. He told my friend in the Altima, Wanna see a nissan get spanked by an ford? My friend said bring it on. When they took off the altima jumped him a car like the thunderbird was standing still, with in seconds the altima flashed his hazards for the win and won the second raced also. Nissan rules, lets go NISMO.........

 

waz up! i got a 02 max and live in Pines. Looking for people who want to go to the local tower shops together on friday nights. If u are interested let me know.

About the altima... I think they are too overrated, i mean it looks nice, but does not compare to our 02 maximas... i would have to see the race to believe it....

Trust me overrated or not, the 2k2 Altima's are fast. With a 0-60 time from high 5's to low 6's and 1/4 mile of low 14's, the Altima 3.5SE's are not to be taken lightly. They may not be as refined or as luxurious as us, but they are as fast as us.

 

There are a ton of people who set up over there. Which Friday of the month is it? I always forget about it and then notice all the activity as I'm going to Home Depot or the Ale House. Then I figure I might as well go see whats new. I have never seen a Max there, it would be a nice addition. Let me know if y'all are going. I might be able to make my way over there.
