Fram Sure Drain- the coolest oil change tool in the world

I'm sure some of you have this, but after browsing the parts section at WalMart, I cam across this. For $12.95 I never have to worry about spilling oil all over my hand again! It is a permanent plug replacemant with a valve. I will put it on for my next oil change.

FRAM® SureDRAIN™ Fast Access Oil Change System
Introducing…the new, easier way to change your oil. Now you can drain your oil with no tools, no mess and no hot oil on your hands with the revolutionary new SureDRAIN Fast Access Oil Change System brought to you by the trusted name in filters….FRAM.

Proprietary SureDRAIN Valve - this unique, heavy duty Actuator Valve is precision engineered to permanently replace your existing oil drain plug and allow instant oil access and draining.

Twist on Drain Hose - Designed for fast, easy, twist on operation, the heavy duty FRAM drain hose starts the flow of oil directly into your receptacle with the turn of your wrist.

Added Protection Dust Cover - To keep the SureDRAIN valve free from road dirt and safe from undercarriage debris, the ultra-rugged SureDRAIN dust cover locks firmly into place until the next oil change. Like all SureDRAIN parts, this dust cover has been tested against leaks, corrosion, vibration and road damage.

Now you can have instant access to your oil with just a turn of the wrist!

thing is...

you might not get as much oil out. the hole is smaller than it would be with the OEM drain plug out. so technically, the drain hole will not be at the bottom of the pan. maybe if the car is inclined alittle, it will drain more completely.

still, cool idea..

Yeah, I thought of that. I'll post in about 2000 miles to let you know how it goes. And I am definitely going to use ramps. My hydraulic jack gouged the hell out of the lip on my car, so I am moving on to alternative methods.
