Should i buy a 2k maxima
Should i buy a 2k maxima
I am looking at a 2000 maxima se. It is selling for around 18,000. The car is in excellent shape, and I was wondering if 18,000 is a good price. It is an automatic, with most of the se options. It has roughly 35,000 miles on it. Would greatly appreciate any input on this.

I am not sure what options are on the one you are looking at, but people are buying 2k2's in the mid to low 20's depending on options. Maybe look for some sales in your area and possibly get a new car with 30+ more hp for a few grand more. Woth investigation at least.

Hi,
We just bought a 2000 SE Black 39K miles with the standard items that came with the SE for $16000 flat. We had it inspected for accidents and full inspection from Nissan without any issues on the car. Also ran CarFax coming back with a clean report.
Word of advice:
You have to remember that CarFax is only good for major accidents which was reported to the insurance company. So if the owner does not report the accident and gets it fixed, you will not know about it unless you take it a autobody place for inspection with a trained eye.
Good luck and I hope this helps.
