2002 clutch bleed procedure?
Does anyone have the procedure for bleeding the clutch on the 2002? I don't know where the bleed valve(s) are located. Is there more than one valve, and do they need to be bleed in a certain order? I have a mity vac bleeder, so hoping this will go pretty quickly, any help appreciated, thanks.

You just drain the old fluid and refill till it starts to pour out the drain hole while level.

Similar procedure to bleeding brakes, except I need to know where the bleeder valve(s) are.

Is this specific to the 2K2 or does the 2K-2K1 also have this?
I have a 2001 ESM, so I can try and look it up if a 2K1 has this.

The reason I'm going to bleed it is because the clutch operation varies so much, sometimes there's half a pedal stroke of free play, and it doesn't engage until its right near the floor. Other times it engages at the very top of the pedal.

Sorry maybe I wasn't clear....I meant if you are having problems with your clutch not feeling right take it to the dealer while you can. If you can put up with the BS they put out.

The 6-speed is different than the 5-speed(electronic shift cable vs. linkage), so I thought there might be something different with the clutch. I'm NO expert on transmission or clutch design.
Enlighten me O'wise one.
BTW, how's that FSTB working out? I told you to hold off!

Got it finished. Yeah...not one of my best purchases. But eh? Whatta ya gonna do? Although I must admit I could tell the differences in the handling (As I really like to toss the car into corners..next might be the Warpspeed SFC's. If I can get the wife to go for them before the house...). Might get a $tealin one used somewhere if it fits properly. Mine does now but looks kinda ghetto. I still have to clean up the welds better.

Yeah, I've been looking for a used $tealin FSTB for awhile. For the damn $80 more I'd spend new/used I should have just bought it a long time ago.
What feels different in the handling? Explain?

Today (whether it be a confidence thing or not) I tore through at about 63-66 (needle was wavering and I was trying to watch what I was doing). The car felt a bit less twitchy to steering input so the rear felt more planted (less floaty).
That does not mean I planted the rear by installing a FSTB, just that it does not seem as twitchy to steering input so the back seemed more calm....It seemed.
