Need help with price
Need help with price
I might close a deal on an 02 with NAV tonight. The best deal I could get so far is $27,500 (that is after the $1000 rebate)
Is NAV really worth it? What is the best price you've gotten without NAV (leather, Bose, Meridian etc..)

Don't pay more than the invoice price then subtract the $1K rebate. Price should be even lower because the 03 are coming out. edmunds.com should have the invoice prices for the base SE and all options.
YMMV but I also had to pay a $500 marketing fee that all area dealers considered a non-negotiable item.
I don't think the Nav is worth it at all at this point...how big is the screen? I bet it's around 5.4" or so? And it's not DVD based, unlike the Acuras, etc... Is it even realistically possible to (somewhat easily) install a PS2 and/or DVD player to use with the stock monitor?

I got a 2k2 SE Loaded except for Meridian, Navi, and HLSD for $26,800. Sticker price was $29,753. So $27K sounds pretty good for one with Navi. I personally have no use for Navi living in a relatively small town and not travelling much. You also won't get anything extra for it when you get ready to trade again.
Also, check the financing options. The deal is right now $1000 cash back OR 3.9% APR for 60 months (0.9% for 36 months). You may actually save more money by taking the lower APR rate instead of the cash rebate. On mine, financing at 3.9% instead of the standard 6.9% saved my about $3700 in interest. It really depends on how much you are going to finance though.
