$1000 cash incentive

Anyone know for sure if Nissan will be extending the $1000 cash incentive on the '02 Maximas beyond May 31st?? Currently it expires 5/31 and the incentive financing ends 6/3. I know they have extended it over and over for most of this year...just want to know if anyone knows for sure.

My current lease expires at the end of August and I would love to get myself a new Maxima. I am just hoping to see what will be included in the '03 Titanium edition before grabbing a leftover '02 SE 6-speed.

Thx!

I was wondering the same thing. I'm aiming to buy my Max in a couple months too. I was set on the 2K2, but depending on the price for the options I want, maybe I'll go for the 2K3?

If you want a new one NOW is the time. I doubt the 2k3's will have enough new toys to warrant paying a lot more for them (except maybe the Titanium Edition). I just bought a 2k2 for $3000 under the sticker price and 3.9% financing. I doubt you will get that good of a deal on a 2k3 right after they come out. Plus your trade-in will probably lose a little more value as soon as the 2k3's hit the lot.

Thanks for the words of advice about buying now, but I still have 3 full months left on my current lease. That would be throwing $1200 out the window as I already know that Nissan will not terminate my current lease for a new car (tried that 2 months early when I went to buy this current car).

I am not interested in running out today or tomorrow and buying a '02 SE, but would consider it in a month or two. Just wanted to know if anyone was aware if the financing and cash rebate will be extended into June or July... Well?

I have a feeling there will be good incentives on Maximas until the all new 2004's come out. They will be trying to convince people not to wait for the new body style before buying one.
