Odd thing happened
I was driving my car the other day, and I noticed a very weird thing(at least I thought it was weird.) I have only tried this once since You have to be going pretty fast to try it. But, my cruise control doesn't work above 99 mph. This really isn't a problem in GA, but for the people in let's say montana that don't have a speed limit, that would get aggravating. Has anyone else experienced this? My previous car was a 200sx and it wouldn't go above 89. I just think it's strange that's all.

I don't imagine the drivetrain was designed to hold those speeds for long periods of time... not to mention the whole safety thing... I've never been to montana, but personally, I wouldn't want to push my car 100MPH + for long periods of time. Technique only.

U THINK THIS IS WEIRD...
MY CUZ HAS A CHRYSLER 300M, AND WHEN GOING OVER 70MPH, AND SPRAYING THE WASHER FLUID, THE CAR GOES INTO REVERSE FOR A SPLIT SECOND!!! AT THOSE SPEEDS IT FEELS LIKE THE TRANY'S GONNA POP OUT, AND THE CAR JERKS, AND THEN SLOWLY REGAINS.
CRAZIEST THING I'VE EVER HEARD. HE HATES THE AUTOMATIC, AND REGRETS LISTENING TO WIFE AND NOT GETTING A MAX.HEHE

I barely use the cruise.... Sure it saves fuel, but the car is a lot less fun to drive that way... Sometimes to stretch my leg a bit during longer trips.
Besides, going at > 100 MPH, I would assume that you want to feel as much control as possible over your car.. The cruise sorta allows you to let your guard down...
I could see why Nissan would decide to limit the cruise to 90 something MPH... For all practical purposes you shouldn't be "Cruising" at that speed... And perhaps it does have an adverse effect on the engine..
I've been up to over a 100 MPH myself, but only for short bursts (passing trucks, etc.) No speed limit would get way too many people killed in NJ.. Besides, unless you go out for a spin @ 3AM, there are too many cars everywhere to SAFELY get anything over 75-85 mph..

Re: same thing with to slow
Ya... that one (can't set too slow) is definitely there... I think it even mentions it in the manual..
I would also be willing to bet that you cant set cruise in reverse, neutral, park!!!... How about 1st or 2nd..?? (not like it really matters either way, but just curious..)
