Difference between G35 I35/Max

I think they are all the VQ engine, but the configuration looks pretty different. Also, was wondering if there are any sites like ours with the G35.

There's FreshAlloy Forums and G35Driver.

Yeah, same VQ engine, but G35 is RWD (while I35/Max are FWD). G35 also has a 52/48 weight distribution, slightly smaller, and zero lift (with Aero package). Can you tell I'm somewhat interested in this car? I can't wait til the coupe comes out later this year....

i love the whole concept of 4 door demons - and the g35 is both fast and is a panty dropper at the same time! ( sorry to say, but the maxima aint really a panty dropper )

I know this thread is not exactly about 5th gen Maximas anymore , but talking about "panty dropper"...

Are you talking about drag or lift here? G35 sedan drag is 0.26 (with Aero kit, 0.27 without: source).

I love that new damn G35...Front reminds me of the CTS, back reminds me of the A4 mixed with an Opel. Too bad it's out of my $ range...

Will the intakes for the Max and I30 work for the G35? Also I like it so much better than the CTS.

Speaking of the G35 intake....

Have you seen it? I test drove one last week and when I looked under the hood I noticed a rather large air scoop (twice the size of the Maxima)....and actually two of them (one drawing air from the front and the other from the side). You could see the Nissan OEM airfilter right there. The tubing didn't look to add any kinks either. My guess is that is where most of the power increase comes from. Its the mostly perfectly designed factory intake I've seen.
