02 Yellow Tailight Reflector!!!

Most of the 02 max drivers already have the front and rear side markers cleared out already. Thats great, but what about the ugly yellow reflector under the red brake reflector in the tailight. Hopefully, I am not the only one who thinks the yellow reflector is majorly giving the butt of the 02 max a bad outcome. Also, what about the orange turning signal reflector in the headlight. Is there anybody who know how to take care of this cosmetic problem on our 02 Max's??? Please let me know. Sometimes I feel like trading with a buddy of mine to his 01 SE tailights. At least those don't have the disgusting yellow reflectors. Someone anyone can u please point me in the right direction to get this problem solved. I thought the 03 max would have had the center of the tailight all red, but Nissan did the ugly tailight thing again.........red and yellow a bigg no no.....!

To the quote about whinnig, I am not whinning just simply saying that the yellow reflector is ugly. And by that response, I feel u like the ugly yellow reflector, so u deal with it, while i will solve it and it looks like i did......

Yeah, don't take any haters seriously.

Swap for some 2K-2K1 SE tails IMO and if your BRAVE enough to risk POSSIBLE moisture in the headlamps than try clearing them yourself. If there are any problems, you'll be the one stuck with it anyways.

Any pics of your ride?

To the haters:
Love your 02 max stock tailights for all I care, but I will be the one who pulls up to you with the all red centered tails. Stop hating, just wanted to see if anyone successfully done it thats it. So when my 02 max walks away from yours, all u will see is the red reflector blinking.... blink,blink,blink......

There's only one way to deal with haters effectively, 02'maxed-out, and that's to ignore them entirely. Haters aren't blessed with a great deal of gray matter and they tend to bore easily. Just don't say anything and you'll eventually freeze them out. But if you address them, you'll bring yourself down to their level. And that's the only way they can win.

I doubt if you can back up that statement. You may find in the real world that most '02 Maxima drivers don't mod their cars at all. Perhaps you meant drivers on this forum, but I doubt if even that is true.

Ethan (emax) tried again and again to clear/mod the taillights to no avail. I think he spent upwards of $600 and several sets of taillights trying to do it correctly w/o breaking the enclosures. He's not exactly a "wet-behind-the-ears" kinda guy either.

As far as the headlights go, it can be done. Search for Ethan's write-up or just pay him to do it.

With removing the HIDs, I have a 01 I30, and mine have moisture in them, and I never even touched them. As for 2K2 tail-lights, if I had one myself, id throw on a pair of 00-01, ultimate sleeper
