I dont think the Frankencar was developed with asthetics in mind, just straight performance....This CAI, would win a beauty contest for sure, but a Drag Race ???....

Given the fact that the Injen is the ONLY true CAI that doesn't require major surgery to install, I'd give it a big THUMBS UP! But I'm with you, kloogy. I'd also like to see before and after dyno plots.

Ive seen that. My favorite Dyno numbers are when ORG members buy the product, and give their feedback on it. I don't trust the manufacturers.

that looks sick! it looks good with the polished piping... there is a lot of space when you take out the scoop. how far down does the filter sit? also does it come with a bypass valve? it seems like it might get a little wet being that exposed

I called it!

That's EXACTLY where I thought the would run it! I bet the install was sweet and simple huh? How far from the splash pan does the filter above? My thought would be to "slot" the splash pan and make "ram" tube to force (have a cover to plug in when it's wet) the air in to some degree, think that's possible? I knew that's how they would doo it though just because you could almost fit a condo in that space! NIZZZZZZZZZE

The filter lies just a few inches above the splash guard on the bottom of the car.

The top end is incredible now... I let my brother cruise in my car with a total of 3 people in it. He few past a bmw 330i with 1 person in it that was going all out. Put about 4 cars on 'em

I had a polished Injen intake on my Eclipse and after a few thousand
miles it had alot of buildup on it and the heat of the engine bay cooked in it, so it turned really ugly. If you get any coolant, dirt, dust, fluids or anything, after it heats in stop an go traffic, its going to bake into the finish. So its something you have to clean periodically if you want it to shine like it did the first day. But having said that it looks better than anything I've seen. I guess you could also put alittle heat wrap on it to keep it cooler. It will be interesting to see if any MAFs fail with this intake.
