AE Engine cover

I tried a search, but "AE" is too short.....

Is it possible to put that sweet looking AE Edition engine cover on my 2000 SE? If so, do I call Dave B?

Very possible and cheap. I got the whole kit from DaveB for only $108. It fits perfect. Look at my website for more pics on it.

The 95-99 FTSB will fit if the airbox is gone? Does it have a lower clearance than the 2000 FTSB? I am hesitant to get the 2000 one because of the problems people have with their hoods clearing.

you dont need to remove the airbox, but there is a bracket on the strut that needs to be either trimmed or removed in order for the strut bar to fit on the driver's side. i got mine for 35 bucks + sh at www.streetbeatcustoms.com. fitment is a lil close, but clearance isnt a problem at all.

Bracket on the strut? I can't even picture what you are talking about. What if I have the Stillen camber kit?

Why did you buy the 95-99 instead of 2K? Price obviously, but is there another reason?

Dont worry about the hood clearance in buying a 2K+ one. Just get it from this guy in the Group Deal section. It clears just fine. I had the 95-99 FSTB but then noticed after about 2months that the throttle body bracket started to chew into the bottom of the FSTB and it ended up chewing up a good quarter size gash about 1/8" deep.
