best exhaust
best exhaust
I know I sound like a complete newbie because I've been around Honda's my entire life....I used to hate it when people came on Honda forums asking about what parts are the best, but I'm new to the nissan thing...So, my question is, for the 2000 Maxima SE, what do you recomend as the best cat-back exhaust, I need something that's going to be as performance-orientated as possible, but also be as quiet as possible....Thanks for your help...

There are basically two points of view. You can either purchase a pre-fab catback from companies like Greddy and Cattman or you can have a reputable muffler shop fabricate one for you. You can expect a muffler shop to charge you about half of what you'd pay for a name-brand catback.
Good luck.
