Results of my accident

I took some pictures at the body shop about a half hour ago. I'm gonna have them developed tonight (yes, I have a non-digital camera ). The estimate is around $7000.00. I thought it was gonna be totalled, but its not. On the bright side, the shop that is fixing it is I-Car Gold and used by the Mercedes and Lexus dealers here for all their work. I even looked at year old Mercedes that had been T-boned and I could not tell any paint work after studying it for around fifteen minutes. They are using all brand new Nissan parts and it should be done in about a week. I'll keep you guys posted and hopefully get some pics up too. I've tried to find the good in this, and as I told Tim, this is just God's gentle way of saying, "Ed, be happy with this car and dont wasted money on a new one"...lol.

A week! Wow that's fast. Good call on the shop. Hopefully they use European paints instead of that cheapie stuff most lowend shops use.

I know the owner personally. My roommate is dating his neice. They better not break up...lol!!! They are working my deductible into the estimate, refinishing the front bumper (bug pitting, chips, and scrape from bottoming out), and putting on the 3M clear bra on the hood, bumper, mirrors, headlights and foglights. When my Max comes back it'll look better than when I bought it.

Hello Ed,

Sorry to hear about your accident. Could you please check your PM though; we're crossing a month now and I'd like to have my funds returned to me.

Thank you.
