What's up with the windows? Are they polarized? Seems like they either have some kind of tint on them or its a whole lot of fog on the windows. The car looks beautiful though. The dark chrome rims are an excellent touch. Can you get the TE package on any of the Maximas or is it only for the SE?

I think the pics were taken early morning with dew still on the windows. That would account for the fog affect. Nice looking car.

No, you can get the TE package on any color of SE, but to get the new "Polished Titanium" color, that color only is available with the TE package. Its like in 2001, the Majestic Blue was only available on the AE.

There are 2 new silver colors. "Sheer Silver" and "Polished Titanium"
If you go to www.nissandriven.com and build your maxima, first select the "Polished Titanium" color, and it will tell you that you also have to choose the TE package.
You probably saw the GXE in Sheer Silver, not Polised Titanium.

Yeh, that's what I read as well... But the TE I saw at my dlr (a couple of dayz ago) was NOT smoked. It was just like my 2k2, and I looked hard!

2003's look good...of course I pretty much got the same thing in the 2k2! I don't see much difference overall.

Imagine the buzz next year about this time...when the 2004's are beginning to come out!

Well I think the 2K3 looks great...but how's the price difference b/w 2K3 and 2K2, both fully loaded (except for Navi). I think the TE pkg is cool, except for the center dash trim. If you plan on getting any kind of dash kit, that will cover it right up!

It looks like the panels on the doors that houses the power locks/window lift controls is still the grey color on the TE.

Is there a Titanium Edition badge on the exterior of the car?

about the windows, well it can be only 1 of three things, either it was really cold and got all fogged up, or its that unscratchable titanum tint that just came out, or.......

All they did it spruce up the 2k2 like when they put out the anniversary edition, they spruced up the 2k. That is all they did. They do this to **** off previous owners who JUST freagin bought their car.

The hold the best reputation for putting new things in the next year, then taking it out the year after, and bring it back the year after, such as the freagin window roll down with the remote.

Yeah I am bitter

I agree it looks nice, but in the same way the 2k2 does. Nothing new there that makes me want a 2k3 TE over my 2k2.

On the www.NissanDriven.com website, I was checking out the specs for the 2K3 Maxima. Here's what it said about the suspension:

Front and rear stabilizer bars
Sport-tuned suspension – firmer
front and rear springs, front struts and
rear shock absorbers; larger front
stabilizer bar

I thought the Max only came with a FSB, and not a RSB?

I'm gonna have to disagree on that one. Yes, taking away the window rolldown sucked.... But having all these various editions out there make more cool parts available for our now "outdated" (for lack of a better word) cars.

Also, it makes retards like us run down to the dealership to check out the new "Titanium Edition" and get prison raped by trading our 6 month old cars in to buy a flashy new car at MSRP.
