1/4 Mile times of 2002 Stock 6 sp vs 3.5 Altima 5sp

Whats the 1/4 mile time range of a 2002 6 speed, stock, and how much does the intake and custom exhust do? And also whats the 1/4 times of a stock 2002 3.5 Altima?

The best verified stock Maxima 6spd time is 14.230....mine. I'm not sure the Altima time is, maybe a tenth or two higher. The intake helps our (Maxima) top end a smidgen and I'd assume it does the same for the Altima. We are impatiently awaiting a Y-pipe. Its rumored to open up both cars alot.

Expect anywhere from High 14's to low 14's on a 6 speed.... Traction, and wheel hop, aree the biggest problems, when trying to get a good time..... Y pipe... Oh yeah, that thing they've been promising for a while ..

If I'm pulling a consistent 14.9 stock, I'm approximating that the 6sp Max should be able to run at least a 14.4 also stock.

Man! I did go crazy reading that thread--all 14 pages! This guy should have posted all of his timeslips for the day, showing the car# for his car on each run. For all we know, he may have run another 15sec pass and the car that beat him ran that 13.9.

Gee those times on his March 1st "columbus day" event, sure looked a whole lot like the times on the SVT lightning that ran next to me...

not trying to start anything, but did that guy show up to try again that weekend ("with witnesses")?

has anyone even come close to that 13.9 - I read all 14 pages, too, and can't imaging the thread died, but I wasn't going to search out the second coming of bdub and phatguy...

Best 1/4 I've seen for the 02 Altima is from Motor Trend:
5sp 14.7
Auto 15.0
