His suspension mods is what got him side tracked from the devolpment of his mid-pipe. BTW Coby, I love my intake so far.

The apexi air filter, however, does have a significant drawback. Because the filter element is constructed of paper, the entire air filter has to be replaced at the end of each filter's service interval. New apexi air filters run around $75.00 and normally need to be replaced every 15K-20K miles. Under the circumstances, using apexi air filters becomes quite an expensive proposition over time.

Personally, I don't find the whistling sound distracting. My Y-pipe makes a slight hissing sound under load and the whistling seems to compliment it. Bottom line is, I'm very happy with my Berk Tuning intake.
Pardon me. I gotta go hiss and whistle now. But I'll be back!

Actually.....I have that in the cooker. Lowering springs that drop your ride and maintain stock ride. These are NOT going to be performance springs (ie stiffer) but simply be a drop spring.

You guys must have your windows up cause that whistling is making
me return it to stock. It was so nice during the winter which is when I installed it. Oh well, you live and you learn. I don't need the intake for sound anymore cause of the muffler anyways.

Really? You've got my attention, Bryan. How much of a drop do you anticipate and how well do you think the stock struts will hold up with your springs installed?

Approx 2". The stock struts should hold up because the springs will have spring rates very close to stock, or at least as close as i can make it.
