Nobody is really mad at her, but come to think of it, this girl lived with me for 11 years, i talked cars daily and all we talk about have something to do with cars, mods, or racing. She usually rolls her eyes and play dead, but i thought all those years of extensive education would have gone in her somehow. But no, nothing. So i guess its impossible to teach a woman about cars and its mechanics. Or they just have much more important priorities which is a good thing. You must have some lesbo in you to be like u!!=) j/king.

I do agree with thicknes. It's good to know some of the basics of car maintanence. You never know what could happen.

Talking about cars and having her actually listen is one thing. You should know this by now. Try to remember the last time she "nagged" you about something. Sometimes all we hear is "blah, blah, blah." Your remarks are making you look more like an ***.

I guess I don't see why it makes your daughter irresponsible just because she got a flat tire with your car. It could have just as easily happened to you. There is crap all over the roads. No granted, she didn't handle the tire situation the best way possible, but she was up against a sales person that likely gets commission for doing his job. You said that everything he told her was correct (discontinued tire, changing two is better, etc.) so where did she go wrong? I don't think you can fault her on the brand issue because she would have to do a lot more than just pay attention to you to know what brand is hot and what is not. If she came home with a couple Michelin Pilot A/S tires you would probably be miffed that it set you back $500+.
Just my thoughts...
Just my thoughts...
Well as long as they are the 555 series and not the 450 Nitto's you should be good to go. Even if you think you get the ricer image they are decent tires and actually outperform allot of higher end tires if they are the 555's.

hahahah.....me too...my girl asks me about cars all the time....compare this to that, which one is faster, why is it faster, what kinda features does this one has and that one doesnt. but she was faking it for sure
i.e. last time we were talking about this yellow S2000....told her everything about that car and she asked me all kinda of question. 2 -3 weeks or so...saw a red s2000 and she asked "oh! nice looking car, what is it called?!?!?!"
conclusion : she loves me and she know that I like cars....but cars to her is only a transportation. but she does spend some good time with me on the subject that she's not interested.
thank u.....
