well, my girl is starting to pi$$ me off....

ok, i became the "Ultimate Maxima Ngelecter" because of my girl, when i left my cars with her. Now something even more serious has happened.

She called me on friday and at first tried to sound all innocent and ****. Then she got to the point and said the maxima might have a flat. Since im like 6000 miles away, and nothing i can do, so i told her to fill it up with air in the garage. Because i got one of those air pumps, thinking she just didnt check her pressure in the past 8 months. Then she called again and said she confirmed there was a cut in the tire......
Ok, so i tell her to fill it up to 40psi and go to wheel warehouse in Anahiem to get the punture fixed. Remember, i never said anything about changing the tire!!

So next day, i called to see whats up, and she said the wheelwarehouse guys said the tire isnt fixable because the punture was on the side wall. Since i wasnt there and didnt see the damage, i can only think my girl got "mis-leaded" because the sales wanted to make more money. Being a girl has a lot to do with it, in this type of situation. I would of insist to get it fixed in any case, even if i do need new tires, i can decide later.
Anyways, while im talking to my girl, i cant believe she got sweet talked in changing the tire. Eventhough i done business with wheel warehouse more than a couple times and would only entrust them when it comes to tires and suspension work, but u can never be too careful when it comes to your beloved ride.

Then comes the kicker: I asked what type of tire................. thinking the WW guys should know to replace it with the same dunlop w-10s that i had. She said:"i dont know, but they said my dunlops were discontinued(which is true)". I got worried. She flipped thru the bill and said:"NTO????"
I said:"NITTO???????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Now im screwed, i always thought nitto is the worst tire ever made, even worse than the Kuhmos?? in my limited opinion. Not because they are any good, but because of their ricer image advertising. So now im officially a ricer??!
Although i wasnt very happy about what she did, but my girl has other great qualities other than know about tires. So i didnt show my disappoint too much. But just thinking i have nittos on my car really killed me. And its NT555s which if i rememebr correctly came out like 10 years ago??!!!
Then came something even more surprising. I only have about 30k miles on the tires but she said she changed TWO!!! of them because the "trustworthy" wheelwarehouse guys said it wouldnt be good for the balance of the car????!!! I admit they are right, but why stop there??!! Why dont they say they need to change all 4 to make it a perfect balance!!! Now, i know why car shops in general screw their female customers.......because they dont know better. Plus, what really got me is my girl knows i change cars more often than tires. I never drive one car much pass 30k miles, and she knew im gonna replace the car soon and she still got convinced not only to change the tire but to change TWO!! of them.

Anyway, moral of the story is never let your girl go to a car shop by herself and never let her deicide anything on ur car.................

Then i ask her, how does the new tire compared to the old ones in feel. She said: "do u think i know!!!!"=) Girls, You got to love them.

actually you really can't lay all the blame at her door because you too are partly responsible (and don't get mad)

the only way your girlfried (or any other woman for that matter) is going to learn how to maintain a car is if you teach her what to do!

I, on the other hand leaned what I know about auto's because I was married to a jacka$$ who didn't and I became interested in order to not have to spend my money on the POS cars that he would always buy

granted MOST women don't know anything about tires, pressure, tire ratings, locks, and rims (and generally have a man or a father who purchase those things for them)

If you want her to have more concern about your car (and hers) then take her a$$ to the tire store and explain the differences between unacceptable tires and great tires. Take her to Napa, Discount Auto, Pep Boys or whatever auto parts store is in your area and get her aquianted with the parts (I happen to know everybody by name at all of my local stores )

I realize that women aren't car savvy...so since I work in a public library and schedule the programs for my branch, I contacted Nissan ...yes nissan...

My local service department and I have been doing a basic car maintenace seminar for women since September 2001. The seminar last around 4-5 hours and covers tire care, oil care, brakes, tuneups, types of gas to use and anything else that the audience can think of to ask. The ladies are not sold anything, they are just provided with information that is invaluable and I have had 30 to 50 women (and sometimes men!) in the seminars

so if you don't want to teach her....contact you local library and a mechanic that is willing to donate thier time!

Women are used to getting fuc$ked over with the mechanic...so help the ones that you know to learn more...and don't get mad at them if they don't know and your car is sitting on the side of the road at 2am cause she doesn't know how to change a tire (we teach that too in the seminar...and even how to use jumper cables) and NO woman wants to be stuck on the side of the road at that time of the morning so she will appreciate everything that you teach her!

I am always surprised when one of ya'll say that I am not like other girls cause I like cars...but remember there was a time when I didn't know **** about cars! I had to learn and a man was nice enough to help me (NOT my dumba$$ ex)

ok..I am done with my rant!!!

just think....you teach her....you just may get head!! LOL heheheheheh

I understnd you being pi$$ed, but what else could she have done? Besides, it would prob cost you more than the cost of one tire to trade in a car with one odd tire.

I say, burn off the tires that you aren't going to stay with and by two more of the ones that you are going to stay with. I HATE THE IDEA OF HAVING MISMATCHED TIRES! I'ld like to think my wife would know better.

Re: Re: well, my girl is starting to pi$$ me off....

Nobody is really mad at her, but come to think of it, this girl lived with me for 11 years, i talked cars daily and all we talk about have something to do with cars, mods, or racing. She usually rolls her eyes and play dead, but i thought all those years of extensive education would have gone in her somehow. But no, nothing. So i guess its impossible to teach a woman about cars and its mechanics. Or they just have much more important priorities which is a good thing. You must have some lesbo in you to be like u!!=) j/king.

don't hate me cause your girl suffers from "stupid woman disease" j/k

don't hate me cause you are just so boring she tunes you out j/k

don't hate me because you are so small minded that you think that an woman with an intelligent conversation and is somewhat knowledgeable about cars has to be a lesbo (not a joke)

I happen to be all woman and damn proud of it...I happen to like clothes, shoes and makeup, but I spend more cash on the vehicle that provides a means of access to the stores that provide those things for me

I never want to be the silly blonde b!tch sitting on the side of the road waiting for a damn man to rescue me ....but instead of being rescued, she will be beaten and raped by the "nice gentleman" who stopped to help her change the flat tire

but don't hate me...hate ya dang self....because in the glorious USA...that is a DEFINATE possiblity for your girl...your sister...your mother

and all because YOUR a$$ didn't want to take the time to stress the importance of car maintenace....but don't hate me...it's just a joke.....right?? j/k j/k ...and btw...i'm not laughing

its all good thats why I never let anyone near my car... thats why you BUY your girl... a Civic... so she can do whatever she damn pleases do it w/o messing with your car

However, it is irresponsible of her to treat YOUR car like shlt because plain and simple it is not her car to treat it her way. If she drives your car she should treat it the way YOU would want it treated, if she didnt know how she should ask, its her responsibility.

now it doesnt really matter who is right or wrong because it remains the Max got abused and that sucks

next time explain to her in detail all the things she should do to maintain the car it will save you alot of headache- if she listens... or see to it that she gets her own car

You must have some lesbo in you to be like u!!=) j/king.

my ex used to pretend to listen to me talk about cars real well.. don't be fooled.. it's the ones that ask questions that are really listening.. i found a few other girls like that.. they're cool, but just outa my reach.
