Getting Ready to buy a 2000..... I think

Well I was on my way to the NE meet this Saturday and everything was going great. There were 17 maximas coming from Washington DC and we had made it to Balitmore with out a problem. As I leave the toll to and catch up with the rest of the guys it happens..........My tranny is now shot so I am in the process if looking for a new car. I found a Black 2000 GXE 5sp for 14,900 with 20,000 miles. Do you think this is a good price? It really doesn't have that many options but neither does my 3rd gen. I have wanted a 5 speed and I know they dont make many GXE 5sps. Whats the biggest difference between the SE's and GXEs, suspension, rims, and dash setup??? Let me know what you guys think.

I paid 18,900 for my 2000 SE, it had 28K on it, leather, bose, 17" wheel package, meridian edition and Auto. I would say that is a fair price on that car. PJ I am sorry to hear about your car's tranny
