Klasse

I have been using it for a year and I love the results I have gotten. Then if you top it off with a nice Carnuba wax (e.g. One Grand Blitz, P21s, Pinnacle Paste Glaz, Pinnacle Souveran) you will add depth to your handiwork.

Sounds like you guys have the application method down pat.
Just make sure you put at least 3 coats of Sealant Glaze on it (I have seen some put as many as 5 coats on their cars) and let the glaze cure for 24 hrs before putting the next coat on it.

Re: Klasse

I washed and waxed my car yesterday as well.
I got the eagle 1 wax as you dry.
Now if you are a first time waxer don't use this. Get something good and wax it. For fill ins use this.

Just wash the car and spray this on. Like 1 squirt for everyone 10 inches of the car. Don't let the car dry. Immediatly dry the car and it will leave an amazing shine.

IF you let it dry it will be like 100% harder for the wax to come off.

I just have to say that the car looks so damn nice.

If the water is drying too fast, does it help get rid of the fresh water spots?

Actually, Klasse lasts 6 months. I had it on my '94 Maxima and it survived a Chicago Winter with no problem. You can buy Klasse from

www.properautocare.com
www.tacscar.com

It's going to run you $40 from either place (for both All-In-One and sealant Glaze in the 16.9 oz size).

Look at these way. You only use Clay Bar once a year. Just make sure you keep it in a ziplock bag so it doesn't dry out.
Klasse is very efficient product. Dime size drop takes care of entire hood. You buy a kit with All-In-One, Glaze and application pads. You apply one AIO once and Glaze couple of time. You'll need to apply Klasse one every 6 month. Clay bar will last you 2 years and if you do it right, Klasse will last you 3 years. $60 for 3 years woth od supplies is not bad. All you'll have to do if you want your car too look good most of the time, just wash and wax with good wax.

you don't need to spend so much on a clay bar kit, and what's the glass polishing kit for?

a) Sometimes Coupon Codes can be found on Autopia (www.autopia-carport.com).

b) In a nutshell, Victor is correct. Why spend that much cheese when you don't have to. Case in point, the Clay Magic kit I use was only $9.99 and the 200gm bars are $19.99. I got the kit from AutoZone.
You can get a Klasse "starter" kit from www.yosteve.com for $19.99 and then save the $ for the full blown stuff later.

PrinzII:

Did you ever get your Porter Cable 7424? If so, how do you like it and where did you buy it from?

I'm looking at coastaltool.com and they've got it for $119.00 which seems like a great price.

i guess if it's really bad on your car, i would think it shouldn't be since it's only a few years old. but go for it if you want.
