come on people...need suspension help??

what if i get modified kyb agx shocks and a stillen camber kit....will there be any modifying needed???...ALSO..will these 2 things fit on the ground controls avaliable for the 5th gen maximas?....the only ground controls i can find say that they are supposed to go with tokicos.....

basically..
1.5th gen ground controls
2.modified kyb agx shocks for 5th gen
3.stillen camber kit...

would this setup work without any modifying?...or could i even use the 4th gen kyb agx's???

thanks..help would be appreciated...

1) I'm not sure what your purpose for GCs are. Are you about show or go? If show, than GCs are for you since you could adjust the ride height for car shows and what not. If you care about performance, I'd personally shy away from GCs. Get a good set of springs such as H&Rs or Eibachs for that since they are designed for one ride height that is more performance oriented.

2) So called 5th gen KYBs are merely modified 4th gen KYBs.

3) With GCs you will most certainly need a camber kit. With springs probably not.

gc's...

i think i'll ever install those in my max (if i ever mod it) after going thru the experience with my bros integra with gc's.... it was freakin harsh as hell. they were way too stiff for city roads... now he's got some kyb's i think and they are like night and day to the gc's, yet still provide adjustability....

I think the person you should be asking is Franken cars own steve. He's done a few installs of the modified Kybs. Personally I have two words for ya, AIR BAGS! If you are going show, why not fork up the extra dough and slam it to the ground.

Calm down dude. If you look at your earlier quote about 'mistaken you may be', it is phrased in a way that it sounds like Yoda from Star Wars (...'down put your weapon'). He was just making a joke...geez.....

If he is using the coilovers then I think it is the eclipse struts, but the standalone AGXs are modified 4th gen maxima struts, that is a fact!!
