Door Sills

I friend of mine from work just bought the "indiglo" door sills. She's not mechanically inclinded so I told her I'd help install, however, I've never installs the door sills. Anyone have a set and or seen them installed?

Thanks
GD

its extremely easy to take off and install.

they simply pop right out and the new ones pop right back in.

now, as always, be careful with your car.

dont pull too hard or bend things the wrong way and you should be fine.

btw, i used a standard screwdriver and a towel to help me.

and oh, i installed the AE doorsills not the indiglo ones, just fyi.

Trunksu, thanks for the help. Removing the sills is no problem. I'm just was wondering about the electrical connection. Seems like that might be the tough part. I don't know where my friend got them. I'll see her tomorrow and ask. Send me an email so can get back to you. Mine is mduncan1@cablespeed.com

Thanks,
GD

Yeah, I am thinking the wiring will be the tough part. I installed AE sills in 5 minutes, but with wires it will be tougher.

BTW - I just installed the AE Pedals.... OH MY G0000D!!! what a pain in the ****. My fingers are all in pain. They look good, but still a pain in the butt. It didnt help that is started raining on my in the middle of the install.

Trunksu, no problem. I saw them when she opened the box and they look good. If the Maxima was my car, I'd put them on. I think she's going to try to get them installed at a specialty shop.

PS,
My wife owns the Maxima I noted in my profile. It's one of the nicest cars I've driven.

Thanks again,
GD
