What options do I have to add a CD changer to stock radio?

I did a search and it seems that the only 2 options are the Clarion or the Crutchfield (correct me if I'm wrong). Are there any 12 disc changers out there that I can install? (i know, i'm greedy). Can a patient member please give me the basic education on this as I don't want to be taken advantage of by some slick salesman.
Also, a friend told me to get one that plays mp3's as well. Is this expensive or even an option with the stock?

Please advise......thanks!

To integrate a CD changer into your car you are going to need the stock Clarion CD changer that does not play MP3's.

Any other CD changer that you are going to install is going to be FM modulated, meaning that you will be getting FM quality music. You will have a wired display screen that you will have to mount somewhere that controls the functions of the CD player. The downside to this is the FM sound and the extra display module, but almost every manufacturer sells an FM modulated changer.

Other options to look into are: a new headunit with an in dash changer or MP3 capability so you can burn a data disc with over 140 songs negating the need for a changer altogether. Good Luck!

Thanks for the info. I'm guessing a new headunit would not exactly be a bright option because I bought the car with BOSE. No way to have everything right? Is installation of the Clarion one easy enough for a fairly handy person to do? (not me, will have to ask the assistance of a boyfriend/brother here.)

give it some more thought, I made the mistake of buying the CD changer for my clarion. about ...6 months later i bought a new deck, so then i had to buy a new cd-changer. really really sux. (waht a waste of money). now it's just sitting in my room doing nothing.

i'm was hesitant to sell it because I'm thinking maybe I'd sell my ride for another car in the future (so i'd put the stock stuff back), but the more I drive my Max the more i doubt it
