That car is freakin AWESOME. I never imagined that it would have the ***** that it does. Whew I can hardly stop thinking about how impressed I was when I downshifted from 70 and punched it. I know that I would double the number of speeding tickets that I normally get if I owned that thing. I'd also be looking for a lot more people to race.

I'm now a jealous 2KSE owner.....oh the temptation.

No, I currently have an automatic. I never thought I'd like another stick since I usually drive a lot of miles. But this one is impressive.

I thought the auto 2k2 was sweet too.....but the 6 speed impressed me much much more. I almost felt like I was back driving my 68 GTO years ago.

I was pretty blown away when I test drove the 2002 last week too. Coming from a '00 SE 5-speed, there is a huge difference. I actually scared the salesman when we pulled out of the parking lot. hehehe

I have an '01 5-sp and I thought that was notchy 'til I drove the '02 6-sp! I did love those extra HP though. And I was seriously considering trading up except for one serious issue. Now try not to laugh too hard, but I test drove with my big-*** Birkenstocks on and my foot could NOT be on the gas pedal w/o rubbing against the brake. I can only conclude that the center stack is wider than the '01s.

Plus I'd have to move all my junk over to the '02 and with the premium over the $19,900 I paid for my GXE - it's be cheaper to get the SC - so I hadta pass.

I don't think I'll have that much strength to pass up the G35 6sp though.

I saw a few 03's at the dealership. The Silver is nice, and the polished wheels. I think the Silver will become popular because they haven't made such Maxima in years and it is the same color all the time unlike the Sterling Mist.
