2k2 SE Wheel Paint

Some of the paint on one of my wheels has decided to chip away....does anyone know of a touch up paint i could use to fill in the chips that would match the color of the paint? They are really starting to annoy me, and the areas surrounding the chips are starting to flake away on me.....ugh..only have 3000 miles on the car, i can't believe it's doing this.

Me too

Please for the love of God tell me such a thing exists. I scratched one of my wheels an it looks like crap. The answer I got from my dealer was "you have to get the wheel refinished." It looks to me like the wheel has paint on it. It is not like I have the GLE wheels - I could understand refinishing being the only option for these.

Of course, would we really want Nissan wheel touch up paint? If it is as good a color match as the Sunlit Sand touch-up paint I say no thanks. Maybe instead I can take the wheel off and bring it into the paint department at Lowe's and get them to match the color. I guess I can go ahead and buy a whole gallon and a bunch of small bottles, then sell it to idiots like me that run into curbs.

I've had my eye on some House Of Kolor paint but have not ordered it yet. I have not found a very close match right out of the box. Some mixing would probably be involved. I have a sizable gash in one of my 2k rims.

STOP HITTING CURBS!
Wheels don't just fall apart on their own.

Hey hey, i NEVER hit a curb with the wheel, it's been flaking since day one, and the dealer told me "they all do that, the paint just chips off with time"

I wax my wheels every time I wash my car, with some thick cheap turtle wax. It helps out tremendously, no flaking or anything, and man do they look shiny! Also, when I want to get rid of brake dust I just take a damp rag and wipe them down, and then I can wax them once every few weeks. It's worked wonders for me!

I have treated my wheels with Klasse Sealant Glaze for the same reason. You can also use Meguiar's #20 for that as well.

Same exact process here ! It makes them look clean , protects them, and the brake dust wipes off easily !

Kloogy quit stealing my ideas! I saw you come up to LA the other day just to watch me clean my Max We need a meet somewhere in between SD and LA so everyone can come! Maybe a dinner in OC somewhere? I don't know OC well (try to stay out) but maybe someone else does? OT I know. Waxing rims is good (back on topic)
