Nope, didn't do it. Didn't see the purpose in it. I was actually sort of reluctant to get the windows tinted in the first place; I'm a sun worshiper and definitely didn't want the car to end up with that "gangsta" look. Did 35% on the sides & back. Llumar metallic film is what I went with. I believe they call it their platinum series (of films).

Trying to talk the wife into getting tint on the Max. Could someone please post pics of Sterling Mist with tint? Could you also put up the % of tint?

check mine, i have 2k2 sterling mist with 35 % tint. It really is not that dark. I did not want anything too too dark. I think it looks great. check it out

But tinting has practical purposes to, it reduces the heat inside and helps you interior from cracking and fading, it is almost a must, next time you see an upscale ride point out that one came tinted from the factory.

Thanks for the pics. Your car looks damn good, I'm leaning towards a little darker on the 3 rears (can only get 35% on the fronts here in MO)

Does anyone have pics with the two fronts being lighter than the rears?

I got mine done about a year ago. Cost me $265, but to this day I have no complaints. It was done on all four windows and back. No sunroof tint. E-mail me for pics.

I was hoping to get something like 20%... talked to several policemen friends/acquaintances and to them as long as the driver and passenger (Front) windows are 35% or more it's fine.

In face, one of them has limo tint on all windows in their car except the fronts and the windshield.

If anything, i'm hoping it won't matter... my tint installation had a couple of stickers on it saying something to the effect of "DOT Approved" or something.
