It looks fine. I think that there should be an addition (or two) though...

215/50/17 should be included. It is a better fit (less speedometer/odometer error) than 225/45/17. Even though it does not have as wide a selection as 225/45/17, there are plenty of moderately priced tires in this size.

Since 235/50/17 is included, 215/55/17 should be also. 215/5517 fits well on a 7 inch wide rim and has nearly the same diameter as 235/50/17.

You just HAD to open yourself up!! I know, beaglemax had a non-combative and useful suggestion, but you could have had peace and quiet!!

You're right, beaglemax. But I'm unaware of anyone who's ever wanted to run a THINNER tire on their OEM rims. Otherwise I'd include them.

Nah. You already know how to use all the tools, asu174. Just keep an eye on your rim width and your load rating when you're plus sizing.

Okay, I will. You wrote:
Running a tire with a minimum acceptable rim width greater than 7.5" and/or a load rating of less than 91 (1,356 pounds) is definitely unsafe and should be avoided.
Shouldn't that be 'rim width greater than 7"' or 'rim width greater or equal to 7.5"'? Or have you shifted your position that the 1/2" is now acceptable?

Okay, I'm nitpicking.

Your point is valid, KaxMaxSEAE. The reason I didn't state my position as you suggested is in deference to a number of people on this forum who insist that running 235/45R17 and 245/45R17 tires on their OEM rims isn't dangerous. While my position has not changed, I tried to remain as neutral as possible on the issue. And you'll notice that I began my discussion of those tire sizes with the statement that no manufacturer will authorize their use on 7.0"-wide rims.
