2k2Max vs JRSC Prelude VIDEO!

We just finished installing my friends Jackson Racing SuperCharger on his 99 prelude and decided to see how it ran

Who chirped the tires when you guys were racing at the beginning?
The prelude just kept pulling on you..man imagine prelude with Greddy Turbo with higher boost

Re: Re: 2k2Max vs JRSC Prelude VIDEO!

I chirped my tires first from pushing clutch in the spin them for the jump, then his tires chirped right after just from punching the gas

He ran a 14.7 prior to the jrsc. Now with 60 more whp, probably a mid/low 13 second car

Those little VTEC engines + Supercharger + Highway = Bye bye Maxima That thing FLIES! I'm sure you'd still take him off the line with ease though if that makes you feel any better

Does the Stillen V1 superchargers for OUR car sound like the one on that prelude, becuase it sounded sweet!

The only way I would have the advantage off the line would be due to his mad wheel hop.

No I think stealin's vortech blowers would sound different than JR's compressors.

As for the Preludes being that quick...yeah...they can be. Mine was the fastest bolts on only (i/h/e/VAFC) Prelude out there with a 1/4 mile time of 14.43@97.36. They are top end screamers.

Tim....see what I mean???? Decisions...decisions... Oh the humanity of it all.

yeah a 100shot would fix this situation, but the 150shot would really set the pace, like some1 here has setup. id like to see what happens then. a 2K2 runnin on 100shot or more of N20 will destroy alot of cars on the road today (i said alot, not all.) there are still a few that would rip a 2k2 runnin nos a new one.

Thanks for the indirect props

those maximas are quick though. He used to just walk me in 3rd gear like no other when he was stock. When he got his CAI we never raced but he took down my friends gtp @14.2 which i'm sure he posted

yeah theres like no traction in 1st with a SC. another jrsc lude beat his brothers SC max (3rd gen? 95 year) 2 outta 3 times. He had a 9psi vs the 6 on the lude.

Once odum gets his 100shot i'll be taping the blur of his taillights

I dont usually prop HUNDUH owwners, but hats off to your LUDE... I really ddont think of LUDE owners as RICERS, ssince it costs more $$ to buy one. I hope you guys are not like Civic Kids ..

just like kloogy sez, i usually dont give props to rice burners. but ur ride aint to rice burner, ricers i define as people who sup up their rides and they turn out to do nothin but make a whole lotta noise and end up goin nowere, they are "pretend" go fast rides. even if some people consider ur ride as rice, id still think its safe to say ur fryin some big rice man, love preludes.....much props. peace

Damn Odum, you beat up a 14.2 gtp!!!! This is after the injen? You need to get some 1/4 track times. The injjen might turn out to be a winner after all.

I got a 14.2 when I was bone stock. Since most of us are familiar with our cars by now, no one in a 6spd has an excuse to run over 14.5.

That Prelude is pretty fast, but it's a Honda, and it's FWD. These days, the used prices are not much more than a Integra or RSX. Personally, I never really liked them at all. If I wanted a coupe back then, I probably would've gotten a 240SX (RWD) or RX-7 or something.

You'ld be surprised how many Prelude guys are getting 240s as project cars since they can be swapped for turbo motors and are already RWD. The Prelude is the best handling FWD car out there though. The RX7...now thats apples to oranges...

Well yes, my friend has a 2000 Pontiac GTP with Intake, 3" Exhaust, and a 9lb supercharger pulley. He ran consistent 14.2's at the track. I ran him a week or two ago and put 2 cars on him

Maximus: We have another friend having his sylvia blacktop motor going in his 240 in the next couple of weeks. We'll be sure to post that thing woopin my a$$.

How much HP

Any idea how much HP he's putting out at the crank with the supercharger? Stock is like 195 or 200 depending on the model.

That was a nice run. Now lets get working on a SC or Turbo 2k2 Max. 400 horses at the crank is not out of reach.

What are the problems you have been having? I was able to connect mine to my 2k2 last night with no problems. Had to tweak some of the settings but ended up working good.

Let me know if I can be of assistance.
