New tires for 00 max

I am getting new tires for my 200 max SE, it still has the stock 17 inch wheels and i don't want to get the same crappy potenzas it came with. Can anyone reccomend any good tires other than the potenzas in 225/50/17, I was considering the michelin A/S (i think), but any other reccomendations would be appreciated. Thanks.

Do a search, Bigdyl. There's been enough written on this subject to choke a horse! Also, check out the link in my sig if you're considering changing tire sizes.

Check out the Tirerack. I got the BFG G Force KDWS for $101.00 and Z rated. So far so good. BFG is owned by Michelin now. The price was just too sweet. The Michelin XGT Pilot V4 is a cheaper alternative to the Pilot A/S, but you would not go wrong the top line Michelin Pilot A/S.

Agreed. I don't believe there's a better tire made in 225/50R17 than the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S.

Y2kse you're the king of this topic..
anyway I have my wheel fix and it's looks like new and first 100 miles impression on the braking in period of the 235/50/17 pilot a/s's!
It's a michelin and it does work like a charm
road noise is there due to the thread pattern more noticeable, braking is excellent , traction OMG! What was nissan been thinking with the potenzass? .. ahh I forget try to get away with cheap tires.. I have not got a chance to push it to the limit yet due to the 300 miles breaking in period. I will post picture and further opinions later. and if all of you can wait and wanted to go for the 225/50 wait until july end. They'll flooded the market with the new batch od A/s's fresh from the factory.

So when are you gonna post some pics with your 235/50R17s, EU? I wanna see what the fender gap looks like. I'm guessing it's much improved.

Thanks.
