Michelins....I finally gave in and ordered a set of Pilot MXM4's in the stock 225/50/17 size for $185.11, exactly 89 cents LESS than TireRack. Not in stock but will be here in a week or so.

Funny..I called every tire discounter in the city and the cheapest I was quoted was $225...called Sears with a 'fat chance' in the back of my mind and needless to say, I was pretty surprised.

BTW, they are selling the 225/50/17 Michelin Pilots A/S for like $205 bucks, again almost the same as TireRack...

Costco is another sleeper place for tires. They don't charge you for the extra crap like valve stems, etc. Intallation at Costco will save you about $7-10 on each tire.

Also in their summer coupon book they have a coupon for $60 off a set of four tires from Michelin and one other manufacturer.
