Bel 906 Group Deal

I have a friend that sells bel 906 Express radar detectors.
The MSRP on these are 79.95.
He's willing to sell them for 70 + shipping and handeling if we get 10.
Anyone interested?

I had a 906 and didn't like the way it operated, I got an 870 for cheaper and it's much simpler and picks up signals quicker. I know because I go through the same 2 speed traps every morning.

If you want to step it up a notch, how about an Escort 8500 for $259.00? No group deal needed. Just as long as there is a Tweeter store near you.

PM me if interested

LOL I would just get the 980 for 200ish, then spend an extra Franklin for a gadget upgrade. It's the same detector. Maximadave, I SO need to go down to your store and see the kind of work that goes on there. I was looking to do that setup where the guy replaced the BOSE sub with an 8" aftermarket and had a custom box made under the rear deck. Know what I'm referring to?

$235 + shipping... "I like it uh-LuT" - Jim Carrey

I also have custom-install instructions on my homepage.

Belive me...RADAR detectors are not something you want to go cheap on. The less expensive ones sometimes take up to 3-4 seconds to activate even with a RADAR pointed right at them!!! After a 3-4 second delay...what's the point?

If you did, thats a good deal. However I didn't say I paid that much for mine either. Actually I just did a little "upgrade" from Bel 980 to 985 myself and returned it back

I'm not too sure about the Bel radar detectors. My friend bought one half a year ago the Bel 980. It doesn't do ANYTHING except beep for random garage door openers. I would advise against it. But then again i haven't used or witnessed the other bels

I don't carry infinite baffle type subs. How about a JL Stealth box instead?

It's such BS, all my friends had 980, after we all did this "upgrade" w/ Circuit City, but it never did beep for garage opener, neither did beep even for X band, since you can turn it off...

The only complaint we all had about 980, is that due to heat & hot weather and having it for little more then a year, we all started having false LOW CAL sign beep showing up on display of the radar. Who know what that is?

Keep the detector out of the sun and mount it above your rear view mirror, like this:

this is no damn group deal! If MSRP is 79.95, then shipping will kill it! No sense in buying from him. If he would sell for $50+shipping...
