Need help pricing a used 2K2 6speed...

I'm insterested in a 2K2 6-speed with 10K miles and sunroof. I tried searching in edmunds and kbb but they don't have used prices for 2K2s yet. How much would you pay?

Well I'm currently looking at a basic 2K2 SE new, and it's about $24 or so.

they had a sale for a 6speed for 21,448, but the one I'm talking about is used and has 10K on it.

Here in Dallas I saw a commercial on TV last week. Maxes(2K2's) are being priced at $5,500 below MSRP. A fully loaded Max, minus Navi, runs about $30K. I'd recommend checking your local dealers for discounts. Not to flame on anyne selling a slighly used car, I came to several educated conclusions when buying a used Max last year. As soon as the car leves the dealership(when the car goes through the process of being titled to someone. A $20K+ maybe $35K car suffers a $3,500 depreciation automatically. Plus, certain negotiation had to take place when the car was bought. Check priceline.com or other websites, you will see, depending on market conditions, Maxes, esp. by lots of org. members, have been negotiated as much as $3k below MSRP. I'd suggest trying to negotiate $5Kor up to $6K+ below MSRP. Hate to say this, our cars are depreciation hogs. That is the biggest flame most of us have about our cars. Use that exagerated depreciation to your advantage, it's there. Hope this helps.

6-speed, 10k miles, and sunroof?

what are they asking? I wouldn't pay over $18k for a $25k car with 10k miles.

the dealerships I have been to have said that the 6 speeds arent included in the 5,000 off because the are a limited production car. I think that price being offered on that car is a good one.
