Performance and other questions...

Hey guys...I'm new here. I'm about to buy a new car, and I'm seriously considering at a Maxima GLE automatic. It's in my top 2 or 3.

Question: what's the 0-60 time for the '02-'03 Maxima GLE auotmatic?

Also, my commute is probably about to become a 1 hour each way ordeal. Is the Maxima GLE suited to make this more comfortable, efficient, etc? (I'm currently driving a Jeep grand cherokee)
Anyone else have a commute like this?

This commute is the main reason I'm not looking at the SE...I'm afraid the stiffer suspension might not be conducive to long-term comfort. Is that concern misplaced?

Thanks, guys-

Clem

Hiya. I got my GLE for the same reason... and I still think the ride is kinda "stiff" but not annoying.

Expect 0-60 to be mid 6sec range. The I-35 was rated around 6.7sec (almost certain?) And the Max weighs less than the I-35 & share it's drivetrain.

You can't go wrong with the GLE. Nice ride, lotsa luxury & cheaper than the SE, when fully loaded!

Is it a fast car?... well, I beat an auto 99+ Mustang GT off the line (twice) with my ride, bone stock.

Sorry Kloog, but the SE wing looks horrible IMO!

And the GLE rims are less popular than the SE ones, so the GLE looks unique.

BUT YOUR RIDE IS STILL SMOOOOOOOOOOKIN
