Here's what I've got as of this afternoon:

----- Original Message -----

I was just on your site and noticed that you have the y-pipe for the 2k2 Maxima listed... is this for real? Is it shipping? If so, has it been dyno'd?
----- WSP's Reply -----

We had someone scheduled for a fitting yesterday the 25th but they did not show up. We have now rented one for Thursday thru Monday. We hope to have a few pipes available next week for the 2002. The first will be aluminized but the stainless will follow shortly thereafter. We have a local dyno shop and may be able to dyno but these rentals are real low mileage cars, most under 4K. I prefer to dyno after about 7K.

regards
Dallas

Wasn't somebody in the ORG bragging about being the 1st to get one, and they were going on the 25th??? Whats up w/ that?

so they're going to rent a max.. then throw a y-pipe on it? isn't it illegal to mod a rent-a-car? plus, why don't they find another guinea pig, i'm pretty sure another org member would love to do it...

A little off the original topic,
I ordered a Y-pipe for my 2k (which is supposedly 'available') about 3 weeks ago from WarpSpeedPerformance and it hasn't shipped yet.

So I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for the 2k2...

What bothers me most is they didn't contact me to let me know that they were this behind...I had to call them twice and got the same answer..."we're a bit behind, why don't you check back with us in a few days"

Well, WTF? How about a production schedule? Organized order fullfillment? Customer courtesy?

Maybe I expect too much...

How Many??

My question is this..the email said a few pipes would be available..how many is a few?? 5? I mean there are probably 100 people with money in hand waiting to buy these things. I hope they will have more than a few..

Yeah, sorry guys. I was the one scheduled for Y-pipe testing but my car is STILL in the body shop (been there since 6/3). As soon as it gets out I can head up there that weekend. Unfortunately, as many of you know, I'm at the mercy of the body shop guys.

Just go up there and smack them around a little
What are they waiting for that it is taking that long for your car?

Maximus..if it is taking them this long, wouldn't it have been cheaper to jack up the radiator cap and drive a new max under it???

Waiting for a call back from Dallas for info on how their testing went and to find out when some of us might get our paws on dem things.

Is he pretty good about returning calls, or should I stay on him?
