but the freakin dealer hasn't call me for the part that they should receive within a week for Brake Judder TSB.

I am waiting and waiting and the damn phone is not ringing.. the only call is the telemarketer..

just reflection of my frustration with nissan service!

mine's done within a day....this is what they do
1.turn the rotors
2.not working? cut the rotors.
3.change the pads
4.break-in the pads.

I noticed that those bastards didnt even break-in the pads for me.....I have to do it myself.

and you dont change oil yourself?

some of us don't have the time nor the desire to fart around with jackstands, ramps, etc...

especially when we are in TX and the daytime high is above 92 and humid for about 3-4 months on end.

I change the oil on my Ram, but that is much easier to pull into the drive and just slide under..

The dealer I took it to just replaced all the rotors & pads right off the bat. I thought that was a better approach anyways...with the new pads it seemed to work...so far anyways...Just went easy on them for about 3 or 400 miles. I've heard that the problem might re-occurr in another 12-18k, but I havent gone that far on them yet. No I dont do my own oil anymore cuz I'm in a condo...and if you try that security is right up yer ahrse.

Re: well....

ah! come on! it is a 30 minutes job and you dont need a stand or ramps....just turn your wheel all the way to the right and then u will have access to the drain bolt and the filter.

to me...maxima is the easiest car to change oil...worst cars is my old old oldsmobile 85. tried it once...and never wanna try it again!

Still, just not worth the effort...I take it to a place I have used for quite some time...and trust me, 30 minutes on many days here is 30 minutes too long for that kind of activity. Now, the winter months are a different story!

I don't trust ANYONE with my car. I changed mine in 115 degree hell last week. Plus when you take it to an oil change place, they use cheap crappy oil. I want my Mobil!

Not when you know them and they listen to you and the work is done in line of site of the waiting area...

we'll see.

and at the same time I told them about the other croock dealer that doesn't believe me and charge me for looking up my break and telling me the brake just find and working great.

I'll keep you all update.

update

Nissan america finally call and the Reps says the replacement part is in and they want me to call the dealer to set up the appointment.

We did argue a little bit about the problem with the other dealer that charged me to look at my brake and they said it's was fine and
when I visited the second dealer they agreed it was brake judder, and they are going to send me $75 worth of gift certificate that I can use toward my next service and nissan dealer.
But I am going to that particular dealer and to let them know, that I deserve a better treament from them.

Anyway, back to TSB. They said they are going to replace my brake pad, hardware kit and I am not sure about resurfacing the rotor?
I hope is for all 4 wheels otherwise I will be pi$$ed even more!
