Monsterflow maintenance etc...

What is the maintenance schedule/procedure for the monsterflow filters? My PR CAI came with one and it didn't have any information about those details.

Also, how would you guys/gals rate the Monsterflow vs. K&N vs. Apexi - what are your feelings on their different techniques for filtering?

My PR CAI came with the Monster Flow filter and an instruction booklet for the filter. I thought I read in there about the cleaning procedure. I could be wrong. I boxed all the filter/screws/manual to be shipped, so I can't go back and look at it again in the event you did not receive the booklet.

I replaced mine with a good 'ole K&N. I still have the recharger kit from my x-drop in. I opted to not use the Monster at all and went straight with the K&N (personal preference).

Can't comment on filtering except my K&N died after 18 months. Cotton element just disintegrated (cleaned once)

A week ago I dyno'd brand new 3" K&N and Monsterflow on my 4th gen.
KN was +.5tq
MF was +.7hp

Which one's better? Dunno
